Starting the excursion, we cross the coastal road where we can see the island of Salamis and the Saronic Gulf, where the famous naval battle of antiquity between Greeks and Persians took place.
Crossing the scenic coastline we make a photo stop at Corinth Canal, a unique and impressive work of great historical and commercial importance for Greece. Through a wonderful driveway full of trees on one side and the sea accompanying us on the other, we reach the famous Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus. The most perfect ancient Greek theatre in terms of aesthetics and acoustics. Guided by the tour guide you will wander through the theatre area and be amazed by the sights and monuments you will encounter.
Continuing the tour, we reach the “gold-rich Mycenae”, the kingdom of the mythical Agamemnon. The most important palatial centre of the Late Bronze Age in Greece, dating from 1600 to 1110 B.C. You will admire the famous Mycenaean tombs, you will pass through the imposing Lion Gate, and you will feel awe of the Cyclopean Walls, made by giants. A wonderful experience that will remain etched in your memory forever.
24 km away, Argolis has one of the most charming cities in Greece, Nafplion the first capital city of the newborn Greek state after the revolution against the Ottomans. The nobility, luxury and romance that characterize Nafplion blend harmoniously and create an enchanting atmosphere. Stroll through the old town with its neoclassical mansions and picturesque cobblestone streets and feel a unique experience of the magic of this place.
